Mini Adventures pre-school provides high quality childcare in a safe and happy environment. We encourage the children, through play activities, to learn and develop at their own pace. We offer a wide range of challenging and stimulating experiences through which they can achieve this.
Our aim is to provide individual, high quality childcare in a fun, caring and comfortable environment.
We firmly believe that every child is unique and is constantly learning. Children are encouraged to be resilient, capable, confident and self-assured. We aim to make each child’s early education experiences positive and meaningful. We know that children learn best in a welcoming, warm, secure and caring environment, where they are able to experiment and have fun, take risks, learn from their experiences and grow in confidence. The uniqueness and individuality of each child is always emphasised, encouraged and valued.
We aim to make their first steps into education an enjoyable and comfortable experience. We believe that parental involvement is vital to this process, as well as employing the correct staff to nurture, respect and provide a safe and challenging environment in which the children are able to reach their goals.
We are happy for you to stay with your child as long as you wish and happy for your child to bring a special toy or comforter for reassurance when they first join us.
High Staff to Children Ratio
Mini Adventures does not operate at its full capacity as we feel that we can offer a safer, calmer and happier environment this way. We limit the number of children at each session and ensure that everyone can have a bit of space when they need it and lots of quiet areas to retreat to and snuggle down with a story or favourite toy if they wish to do so. The varied range of activities on offer each day will have their own areas and the children will have the space to move between these areas as they wish to.
Our Facebook page is kept up to date with all the latest news and answers to questions.
Our senior team members have degrees in Early Years child care (Level 7), the rest of our team hold at least Level 3 qualifications.
Other qualifications include Safeguarding, Advanced Safeguarding, SENCO, Safeguarding for Disabilities, Full Pediatric First Aid, Food Hygiene, Promoting Positive Behavior and spotting Child Neglect.
All staff are experienced in many areas of childcare, they have worked with all age ranges, abilities and needs. A family feel and welcoming environment are of utmost importance to us all and we will endeavour to allow each child to gravitate to the key worker that they feel most comfortable with.
